Monthly Meeting Minutes For The December 7, 2005 Meeting
Meeting called to order at 8:15 A.M..
Members
Present were Chairman Ron Rencurrel, Don Ouellette, Dave Badger, Bob Donahoe, Mike
Kain and Dave Maynard. Absent with permission were Bernadette Burgess and Tina Jas
Representing the Town Selectmen, Peter Whitlock (absent). The Minutes of the November meeting were approved
Old Business
Don Ouellette is working on the contact list and will have it out soon.
The committee reviewed a copy of the letter that the Selectmen sent to Americorps for bike trail work which had been prepared by Don Ouellette and Bob Donahoe. Ron and Bob were planning to meet with Jon Peterson at Nickerson State Park following the meeting.
Board of Selectmen Meeting—Committee members presented our suggestions for the Brackett Road improvements. Effectively, we were “ahead of the curve” in that we thought that the improvements were on a fast track. We are invited to stay abreast of the planning. Dave Maynard will send a letter to the Critical Planning Board reiterating our suggestions.
New Business
In the fall, construction work should begin on the Eastham bike trail.
Ron will work on the annual report and will submit it by December 20th.
The next meeting will be held on January 4, 2006 at 8:15 A.M.
